Green Action ELT is a volunteer-led organisation based in the UK that encourages everyone connected with the language teaching industry to adopt a more sustainable way of working. They regularly organise informative webinars and in their most recent such event, held on April 25th, GSS President Jonathan Dykes had the opportunity to explain why we decided to launch an accreditation system designed specifically for the language teaching industry, how the accreditation process works, and what are the benefits of accreditation for schools.
Other speakers in the webinar were Chris Etchells, who explained the Green Action ELT Pledge, and John Crick from Aspire.Sustain who outlined how his company can help schools take environmental action.
